CTDPA – Connecticut Data Protection Act comes into force in July 2023. The act introduced a series data privacy rights for Connecticut residents which allows them to access and control how their data is used by businesses. Important rights include the rights to delete their data, amend their data and opt-out of data processing. CTDPA is enforced by the Connecticut attorney general.
