The primary data privacy law enacted in Connecticut is knowns as CTDPA (Connecticut Data Protection Act) which comes into effect in July 2023. It requires businesses to factiliate access requests (DSR’s) within 45 days, conduct privacy impact assessments, notify Connecticut consumers of a data breach and other requirements.
